About
DASA
Was conceived in 2018 by Dr Wani Bosco Fabiano Ayire, while applying for the prestigious Chevening Scholarships to the United Kingdom. After he won the Chevening Scholarship Award and graduated from the prestigious Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine with Masters in International Public Health. Dr Fabiano together with other multidisciplinary team members registered DASA in 2022 as a Non-Governmental Organization with focus on improving access to primary healthcare services, tackling HIV/TB, Malaria, Neglected Tropical Diseases(NTDs), COVID-19, Ebola, and other communicable diseases.
He envisioned healthy & empowered communities who will remain resilient to shocks of epidemics, disasters, & conflicts when provided with the right tools and skills.
Dr Wani believes that improving health & wellbeing of the people requires a multi-sectoral approach to achieve it. Therefore, concerted effort from professionals of different disciplines will be key in achieving the health outcomes in South Sudan.
He is an advocator of health systems strengthening and believes that monitoring & evaluation with increased accountability & transparency are fundamental to achieving the quality of service we want.
