Objectives
Objectives
DASA has six strategic objectives underpinned by the core values of the organization to enable people in need due to shocks like disaster, conflict, epidemic, or poverty to access quality service according to the core humanitarian standards framework or national or international standards. These objectives are the following:
Objective 1
To improve access to basic healthcare through strengthening local capacity and leveraging on the Boma Health Initiatives (BHI)

Objective 3
To promote health awareness through health education, screening, and treatment of the prevailing health conditions, including noncommunicable diseases, mental health, and well-being (SDG #3.4)

To reduce extreme hunger through supporting improved nutrition and food security (SDG #2)
Objective 5
To improve water, hygiene, and sanitation (WASH) in healthcare facilities and communities (SDG #6)
Objective 6
To build effective partnerships to achieve DASA’s goal through research and innovations (SDG #17)
